Yakov Avdeev, first-year student of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, as a member of the national team of Russia won the silver medal at the international competitions in crossbow sport, and won bronze in the individual competition (Ulan-Ude). The competition was attended by 16 teams. First place went to the team from Croatia, the Czech Republic in third place.
